Biography
Zeri, also known as Izri, was one of the sons of Jeduthun, a Levite who served as a temple musician during the reign of King David. Zeri and his brothers were appointed by David to prophesy with lyres, harps, and cymbals. They were part of the group of Levites tasked with providing music for worship in the tabernacle. In the organizational structure of the temple musicians, Zeri and his brothers were under the supervision of their father Jeduthun.
