Meshobab מְשׁוֹבָב
A Simeonite leader during Hezekiah's reign.
Biography
Meshobab is mentioned in the genealogy of the tribe of Simeon in the book of Chronicles (1Ch.4.34). He is listed among the leaders of the Simeonites during the reign of King Hezekiah of Judah. These leaders, including Meshobab, Jamlech, and Joshah, led a group of Simeonites who destroyed the remaining Amalekites and settled in their land.

Meshobab
erar (Mount GEDOR (which see)), and a Maonite settlement in Edomite territory (1Ch 4:39-41). The latter event is dated in the days of Hezekiah (see Curtis, Chronicles, in the place cited.).
