Elioenai אֶלְיוֹעֵינַי

Male Tribe of Judah H0454B 1 book

A descendant of David through Jeconiah.

Biography

Elioenai is mentioned in the genealogy of King David's descendants, particularly in the line of Jeconiah (also known as Jehoiachin), who was one of the last kings of Judah before the Babylonian exile (1Ch.3.23,24). Elioenai is listed as one of the sons of Neariah, who was a descendant of Shealtiel, the son of Jeconiah. This genealogy demonstrates the continuation of David's lineage after the exile.
