Biography

Chelub the Ishmaelite is mentioned in 1Ch.27.26 as one of King David's officials. He was responsible for overseeing the agricultural workers who tilled the soil. This Chelub is distinguished from the Chelub in 1Ch.4.11 by his Ishmaelite lineage and his role in David's administration.
